Contribution of the Author

A native of Gaur, Rautahat, Narayani zone, Dr. Adhikari holds M.Sc. in Botany (Tribhuvan University, 1973) and a diploma in French. His extensive government career in Department of Plant Resources included pivotal roles as Chief of the National Herbarium and Project Coordinator for the Nepal Flora Implementation Project. He is the founder, life member, or Vice President of professional organizations including NBS and MAPSON, and authored critical research texts on Nepalese mycoflora.
